Sponsorship & Marketing Department Tasks
OBJECTIVES:
- To find the sponsors for funding the entire event.
- to build business partners by approaching exhibitors taking part in the event.
- to promote and market the idea of helping the ZOO NEGARA by holding the Karnival "Wow! Hebatnya Zoo", to the public though Local Authorities with the aim of getting support & pulling crowds.
- To discuss, find and list all the potential donors especially for organizations that use the animals as their organizations’ symbol.
- To prepare the proposal and other correspondence in order to approach the sponsors.
- To approach the Local Authorities, Schools, Community as well as corporate organizations to take part during the event day.
- To work with Operations Department on the followings:
a). Managing the in kinds sponsorship collected especially on the location to put all the items.
b). Arranging and setting up the booth for donors, giving away the goodies, in kinds item for competition etc. - To work with Publicity & Promotion Department on the followings:
a). Marketing the ideas to the Local Authorities or Corporate Organizations.
b). To communicate/liase with ZOO NEGARA on what types of contribution that they can give to the community/public for their participation. - To keep in touch with other project committee members that want contribute on sponsorship.
- To work with Treasury and Solid Gols in managing the fund (cash) collected especially from individuals.
- To do the Details Activity Checklist / Timeline for Sponsorship Department.
- To update the project committee on the on-going department’s activity and produce weekly report and presentation and submit report to Project Leader.
- To assist for assessment, evaluation and final report writing for the project.
- To establish contact with vendors and suppliers on carnival date.
