Publicity & Promotion Department Tasks
OBJECTIVES:
To ensure a successful event and public participations to support the event. Promotions angle will be created through all important channels. Get the message across to target audience/visitors to Zoo Negara for the event.
OVERALL JOB SCOPE:
- To discuss, find and list all the potential types of promotional material.
- To create and design handouts and other written materials
- To approach the Local Authorities, Schools, Community as well as corporate organizations to take part during the event day.
- To collaborate with Adhoc & Technical Department on the followings:
a). Arranging the location to distribute handouts.
b). Distributing the leaflets, poster and etc. - To collaborate with Sponsorship & Marketing Department
a). Collecting funds to support the event.
b). To identify sponsors that may contribute to the event
c). To act as spokesperson to Sponsorship & Marketing Department to raise fund. - To work with Media Relations & Protocol Department
a). To assist the department by identifying the best media channels in order to get highest publicity.
b). To assist in invitation of VIPs and guest artiste involved.
c). To collaborate in every task related to media relations and publicity. - To work with Zoo Negara and main sponsors in creating and printing of the promotional materials (electronic and printed)
- To prepare the Detail Activity Checklist / Timeline related to publicity and promotion of the event.
- To update the project committee on the updates/ progress inter-departmental activity and produce weekly report and presentation, when necessary.
- To assist team member’s assessment, evaluation and final report writing for the project.
